What are synonyms?

  • fast β†’ quick
Note

Synonyms are not always exact. Some words are stronger or softer in meaning than others.

Examples:

  • β€œShe is smart.” β†’ β€œShe is intelligent.”
  • β€œThe soup is hot.” β†’ β€œThe soup is scorching.”
